Medical Assistant - clinic support (Columbus, OH)

Northwind Cedar Care Services provides in-home and community support in Columbus, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our clinic support. You would join a large organisation of about 952 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
