Medical Assistant - clinic support (Birmingham, AL)

Rivermark Mill Care Services Group supports families and individuals in Birmingham with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on clinic support. You would join a small organisation of about 156 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
