Medical Assistant - clinic support (Austin, TX)

Westbrook Birch Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Austin, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our clinic support. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
