Marketing Coordinator - content calendar (Oakland, CA)

Cedar Birch Arts Center is an arts centre in Oakland with a full calendar of events, and we need a Marketing Coordinator to lead our content calendar. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Keep brand and message consistent across channels. • Write clear copy about event logistics for the website and newsletters. • Plan and send email and social campaigns on a regular calendar. • Track results and tell the team what worked. • Coordinate events, flyers and partner promotions. What we are looking for • One to three years in marketing or communications. • Excellent writing and proofreading. • Comfort with email and analytics tools. Nice to have • Experience with event logistics. • Photo or video editing skills. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
