Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Virginia Beach, VA)

Bright Vale Property Management is a Virginia Beach property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. Residents are neighbours, not numbers. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for maintenance requests in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with maintenance requests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
