Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (San Diego, CA)

Bluepeak Vista Water Authority is a public water utility serving the San Diego area. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for billing accounts in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
