Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (San Diego, CA)

Bright Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around San Diego, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for loads and lanes in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
