Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (San Antonio, TX)

Redstone Birch Foods is a San Antonio food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for sanitation schedules in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
