Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Rochester, NY)

Amberfield Junction Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Rochester and nearby communities. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for water quality in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
