Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Rochester, NY)

Silverline River Water Authority Partners is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on preventive maintenance for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
