Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Fernwood West Freight and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be preventive maintenance. You would join a large organisation of about 560 people based in Reno. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for dock schedules in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
