Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Orchard Environmental Services and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be preventive maintenance. You would join a large organisation of about 451 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for landfill records in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
