Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Ashton Foods and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be preventive maintenance. You would join a small organisation of about 138 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for cold storage in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
