Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Westbrook Loom Property Management looks after rental homes across the Oakland area, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. You would join a small organisation of about 191 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for rent collection in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with rent collection. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
