Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Bright Sparrow Facilities is a facilities company in Detroit with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for safety inspections in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with safety inspections. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
