Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Westbrook Meridian Foods is a Charleston food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. You would join a small organisation of about 101 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for cold storage in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
