Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Fernwood River Press is a printer and publisher in Sacramento serving local and national clients, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for paper stock in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with paper stock. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
