Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Bright Meadow Water Authority Associates is a public water utility serving the Portland area. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. You would join a large organisation of about 230 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
