Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Fern Farms and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be preventive maintenance. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for harvest schedules in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
