Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Cross Facilities and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be preventive maintenance. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for work orders in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
