Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

We are growing our team at Lumen Fern Freight Group and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be preventive maintenance. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for claims in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
