Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Silverline Harbor Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Hartford. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for proof of delivery in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
