Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Bright Birch Farms is an agricultural business based around Hartford. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for packing house output in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
