Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Lumen Birch Freight is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on preventive maintenance for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for carrier rates in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with carrier rates. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
