Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Cedar Birch Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Cleveland, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for supply orders in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with supply orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
