Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Ironwood River Housing manages affordable housing communities across Knoxville, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for lease compliance in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with lease compliance. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
