Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Amberfield Granite Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Columbus, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for maintenance stores in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with maintenance stores. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
