Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Nova Wren Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in San Jose. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for collection routes in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
