Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Fernwood Vale Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around Rochester, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for clinical studies in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with clinical studies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
