Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Northwind Meridian Energy is an energy provider in San Diego focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for hardship programmes in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
