Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Bluepeak Granite Water Authority is a public water utility serving the New Orleans area. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
