Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Orchard Freight Associates and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be preventive maintenance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for loads and lanes in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
