Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Bluepeak Quill Freight is a Des Moines logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for dock schedules in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
