Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Bright Fern Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Las Vegas, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for carrier rates in order. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
