Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Umber Foods and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be preventive maintenance. You would join a large organisation of about 381 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for sanitation schedules in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
