Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Bluepeak Rowan Foods Group produces packaged foods at its San Diego plant. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for cold storage in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
