Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Amberfield Birch Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Savannah, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. You would join a small organisation of about 197 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for loads and lanes in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
