Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Fernwood Junction Water Authority is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on preventive maintenance for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for billing accounts in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
