Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Bright Fern Freight is a Birmingham logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for proof of delivery in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
