Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Highbridge West Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Jacksonville, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for proof of delivery in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
