Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Westbrook Cross Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around New Orleans. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for carrier rates in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
