Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Raleigh, NC)

We are growing our team at Northwind Union Freight and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be preventive maintenance. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for customer tracking in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
