Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Raleigh, NC)

Amberfield Birch Freight is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on preventive maintenance for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for dock schedules in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
