Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Basin Foods Partners and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be preventive maintenance. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for ingredient orders in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
