Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Providence, RI)

Westbrook Ashton Foods is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on preventive maintenance for allergen controls, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for allergen controls in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
