Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Portland, OR)

Bluepeak Timber Housing manages affordable housing communities across Portland, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for lease compliance in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with lease compliance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
