Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Portland, OR)

Clearpath West Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Portland, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. You would join a small organisation of about 80 people based in Portland. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for recycling loads in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
