Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Portland, OR)

Lumen Pike Property Management manages apartment communities around Portland. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. You would join a large organisation of about 933 people based in Portland. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for unit turnovers in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with unit turnovers. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
