Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Portland, OR)

Ironwood Wilder Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Portland plant, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our preventive maintenance. You would join a small organisation of about 91 people based in Portland. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for scrap and rework in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
