Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Pittsburgh, PA)

Cedar West Facilities is a facilities company in Pittsburgh with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for contractor visits in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
